The iconic Fendi Baguette is back for Spring 2019, and the brand is re-launching it in a big way.
Originally introduced in the 90’s and popularized by Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) of Sex and the City, the Baguette is one of those quintessentially chic designs that make it a fashion classic.
For an extra dash of 90’s connection, Fendi’s Spring 2019 campaign features Kaia Gerber, daughter of none other than supermodel Cindy Crawford.
This season, Fendi is releasing the Baguette in three sizes, Medium, Large and Mini, with plenty of color options, including embroidery and the coveted purple sequin style. The medium size seems to have the most variety and is likely the most popular size, the large Baguette is available in FF embossed lambskin leather and in colorfully accented denim, while the mini only comes in the embossed leather version at this time.
The Baguette features a flap design with signature FF magnetic clasp and gold-tone hardware. The medium and the large styles come with detachable leather handle and shoulder strap, while the mini has a leather handle and a chain strap.
Inside, there is one large compartment with a zipped pocket.
