The Louis Vuitton Capucines was first introduced when it appeared in Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2013 Collection. The name Capucines originated from Rue des Capucines, Louis Vuitton’s first ever physical store which was located in Paris and built in 1854. The bag is made from Taurillon leather which is known to be very durable and lightweight, making it the perfect everyday bag. The bag is also available in Crocodile and Ostrich leather. The bag also includes 2 large interior compartments with 1 flat pocket and 1 zipped pocket. The handle is semi rigid and features jewel-like rings that essentially secure the handle in place. Like all other Louis Vuitton’s bags the hardware comes in either gold or silver. There are two sizes available for this bag, the MM and the GM. In terms of color the GM is only made in the Cherry Red and Black, while the MM has much more color variety as it is available in 10 different colors (scroll below to view them).
